Description
Say goodbye to harmful commercial toothpaste and hello to our handmade Toothpaste! Made with only five science-backed ingredients, our toothpaste is the perfect addition to your daily dental routine. Our toothpaste is made with Coconut MCT oil, cacao nibs, baking soda, xylitol, and food-safe peppermint essential oil, all carefully chosen for their dental benefits.
Coconut MCT oil has antibacterial properties that help to prevent cavities and bad breath, while cacao nibs are rich in flavonoids, which can help to reduce inflammation and fight bacteria in the mouth. Baking soda helps to neutralize harmful acids in the mouth, and xylitol is a natural sweetener that can help to prevent cavities. The food-safe peppermint essential oil gives our toothpaste a fresh and minty scent, leaving your mouth feeling clean and refreshed.
Our toothpaste is slightly crumbly in texture, making it easy to use. Simply scoop up a small amount, about the size of a dime or two peas, with the wooden spoon provided, put it in your mouth, and swish around for about 20-30 seconds. Then, brush as usual!
Commercial toothpaste often contains harmful ingredients like fluoride, which has been proven to cause cavities, destroy enamel, and even harden the pineal gland. Our toothpaste is fluoride-free and safe to use, even if you happen to swallow some.
Paul and I have been making and using our handmade toothpaste for almost three years now, and we will never go back. Even our 13-year-old daughter, who was initially embarrassed about it, is now happy to have her friends use it, and they even request it! Our handmade toothpaste is not only safe and effective but also fun and uplifting. We believe that everyone deserves a toothpaste that is free from harmful chemicals and promotes overall dental health. Give our Toothpaste a try and experience the difference!
What’s included: Toothpaste, spoon scoop, and toothbrush (random bristle color)
Toothpaste ingredients: Coconut MCT oil, cacao nibs, baking soda, xylitol, and food-safe peppermint essential oil
Size: 4 ounces
How long it lasts: With our family of 6 (2 adults and 4 children), a 4-ounce jar typically lasts 2 weeks. The fewer people, the longer lasting— and visa-versa.
Materials:
- Toothpaste jar is made of glass and the lid is metal
- The scooping spoon is bamboo
- The toothbrush handle is bamboo with sisal fiber bristles. Each toothbrush is individually wrapped and sealed in a plastic sleeve.
HOW TO USE
Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to use our handmade toothpaste:
- Take the wooden spoon provided and scoop out a pea-sized amount (about half a scoop) of toothpaste.
- Put the toothpaste in your mouth and swish it around for about 20-30 seconds. This allows the natural ingredients to start breaking down bacteria and plaque in your mouth.
- After swishing, take your toothbrush and brush as you normally would for about two minutes.
- Spit the toothpaste out and rinse your mouth and toothbrush with water.
It’s important to note that our toothpaste is slightly crumbly due to the absence of artificial thickeners and stabilizers, so don’t worry if it feels a little different from what you’re used to. Also, while our toothpaste is safe to swallow, we recommend spitting it out for best results.
TOOTHPASTE CARE INSTRUCTIONS
- Store the toothpaste in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat.
- Keep the lid tightly closed when not in use to prevent moisture from getting in.
- Use a clean spoon or scoop to take out the toothpaste to avoid contamination. You can occasionally wash the bamboo spoon if needed. Rescoop with this spoon after it has dried.
- Do not dip your toothbrush directly into the toothpaste jar; you don’t want germs to find their way inside!
- Avoid getting water into the toothpaste container as it can affect the quality and consistency of the toothpaste.
- If you have any allergies or sensitivities to any of the ingredients, please discontinue use immediately and consult with your healthcare provider.

If I could give this 10 stars I would! I got some of your soap at the Blackfoot vintage market days show (the coffee bar and the mystical splash bar!) and thought I’d try the toothpaste…. and I was excited to pick my own tooth brush too. This is the BEST toothpaste hands down. I normally don’t review things online but i had to on this one. If you’re not using their toothpaste YOU NEED TO!! like today! It was fun talking with you guy at the booth. Cute couple. I’ll be back to order more.

Hi Sami! I remember you picked out some of our faves at the VMD show. We’re happy you’re enjoying the toothpaste. We thought you were pretty awesome, too!

I recently discovered this handmade toothpaste at the craft fair in Idaho Falls, and let me tell you, it’s a game-changer! I was initially curious because who sells toothpaste at a craft fair, but then the more I started talking with them about the benefits and how it can help with sensitive teeth which I have I thought I might as well just try it! My mouth and teeth feel super clean and I think it’s even whitened my teeth!!!! And they don’t hurt which is a HUGE thing for me. The all-natural ingredients with peppermint essential oil are so nice and refreshing. I tried my old toothpaste and it just isn’t the same expereicne. This homemade stuff is here to stay in my cabinet! I highly recommend giving this one a try! It’s a totally different consistency than what I was used to but it is hard to go back after having this. (FYI, I am NOT A GRANOLA person by nature!!!)

I love this… “Not a granola person by nature.” That’s a great way of putting it! I’m happy you gave the toothpaste a try and that it’s helping with your sensitive teeth.
