HOW TO USE
To wash dishes using a solid dish soap with a bamboo scrubber, follow these simple steps:
- Wet your bamboo scrubber: Before using the soap block, wet your bamboo scrubber thoroughly with water.
- Create soap bubbles: Take the porcelain ramekin dish containing the soap and rub the wet bamboo scrubber onto the soap block to create soap bubbles. It’s important not to add water to the soap ramekin as this can dissolve the soap and reduce its effectiveness.
- Clean your dishes: Once you have a sufficient amount of soap bubbles on your bamboo scrubber, use it to clean your dishes. Apply more pressure to the dish for more soap and bubbles as needed.
- Rinse your dishes: Once your dishes are clean, rinse them with water to remove any remaining soap residue.
- Clean your bamboo scrubber: Rinse your bamboo scrubber thoroughly with water after each use and allow it to air dry with bristles down. Do NOT store on dish soap ramekin.
Remember, don’t add water to the soap ramekin and use enough pressure to generate soap bubbles for a thorough and efficient clean. We’re stepping away from watered down stuff that doesn’t work! Hehe.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
- Occasionally rub on oil your bamboo scrubber to keep it lasting longer. Using a food-safe oil (olive oil, coconut oil, mineral oil, etc.), wet a paper towel or small cloth with oil and rub down the bamboo. Bamboo is super water resistant but it is best to oil down occasionally so water doesn’t consistently sneak into the wood—err, grass… bamboo is a grass— and splinter. When the wood feels “dry” (trust us, you’ll know the feeling) just give it a nice rub down. It’ll thank you with more dish cleaning.
- After washing dishes, set the brush next to dish soap. DO NOT store brush on top of dish soap, as this will make the soap continually soften.

Ok. So. I NEVER leave reviews. But I have to for this. I bought this at a farmers market because I liked the lemon smell, and I didn’t expect it to actually outperform my ‘tough grease cutting’ dawn dish soap. But it does. It seriously handles everything—bacon grease, curry pans, sticky kid cups—and it rinses off like a dream. I also noticed my hands don’t feel dry or tight after doing dishes anymore, which used to be a daily thing for me. I now low-key look forward to dishes because the scent is so fresh. Is that weird? Probably. Still true.

GAME CHANGER!! So I just purchased this kitchen dish soap at the vintage days show located in Blackfoot ID yesterday. The gentleman at the booth told me it was great for getting grease off his hands. I instantly purchased it. My husband being a pipe welder on the northern slope of Alaska has hands that are ALWAYS dirty looking even after using dawn or any store purchased de greaser products. I WILL ALWAYS ONLY USE THIS DISH SOAP! I’ve been using Meyer’s dish soap for 5+ years. It smelled nice, cleaned well, and lathered up. BUT I made the fatal mistake of reading through their ingredient label and was shocked to see they have sodium laurel sulfate, fragrances, and a bunch of other unhealthy ingredients. So I went searching for a cleaner option. This one looked cute so I took a chance. And I am so happy I did! The ingredients are as pure as they get— and it cleans dishes better than anything I’ve ever tried. No grease or streaks. I love the bamboo scrubber too. A little goes a long way. I’ve had this set for 2 months and have hardly made a dent in the soap. (There are 4 of us at home.) The price seemed initially a little scary ($28) but I was paying about $15 for a 3/pack of Meyer’s and was going through a bottle every 2-3 weeks. I’m actually SAVING money using this. Thanks for such a good dish soap. It’s seriously amazing.

This soap dish is fabulous! I love all the choice of scents and really can’t choose a favorite! The soap dish with brush makes cleaning greasy pots, pans and dishes quick and easy! I gifted several to family and friends and they are very pleased with this handy and attractive addition to their kitchen routine. I LOVE this dish soap! I was nervous to get a solid dish soap at first but I am so glad that I did. It lathers way better than the dish soap I have been using previously and you can use it with a TON of dishes, unlike others. It also has a great smell and does extremely well with cutting out the grease on posts and pans. The scrubber brush it comes with is also super convenient and adorable. I got the lemon and rosemary scent and I feel like I’m in a garden every time I use it. The smell helps make doing dishes enjoyable!
